Kumba Jow
Know the visionary and vibrant Executive Secretary of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Secretariat- ADRS, Mrs. Kumba Jow.
Kumba Jow is the Executive Secretary of the ADR Secretariat since October 2022. Prior to joining the ADRS, she worked at the Attorney General’s Chambers &; Ministry of Justice in Banjul where she held the positions of Curator of Intestate Estates and Principal and Senior State Counsel at the Civil and International Law Department.
Born in The Gambia, she attended the St John’s Roman Catholic primary school in Banjul, as well as St. Joseph’s and St Augustine’s High (Sixth Form) Schools.
Mrs. Jow is a Certified Civil and Commercial Mediator and a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Gambia. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Bristol Institute of Legal Practice, University of the West of England, a Masters of Laws Degree in International Law and Criminal Justice (LLM), as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Honors Degree from the University of East London.
Kumba is also a holder of a Matrise (MA) and Licence (BA) in Applied Linguistics from the University of Franche Comte in Besancon, France, and a Higher Diploma in French Studies from the University of Cheikh Anta Diop in Dakar, Senegal.

Deputy Executive Secretary
Bakary Camara
Bakary Camara is the Deputy Executive Secretary of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Secretariat (ADRS), a Barrister and Solicitor at the Supreme Court of the Gambia.
Prior to that, Mr Camara worked with the Gambian judiciary for twelve years (1996-2008), starting as an Assistant Court Clerk, rising to the position of Assistant Registrar Designate Office of the Master of the High Court and Assistant ADR Supervisor Court Connected ADR.
In 2008, Mr. Camara left the Gambia’s judiciary and joined the ADR Secretariat as the Complaint Record Officer, where he rose to the position of Deputy Executive Secretary.
Mr. Camara started his early education at Kabafita Primary School in Brikama. He later proceeded to Nusrat High School where he did his Ordinary and Advance level. He also has a Diploma in Law from Gambia Technical Training Institute (GTTI) and a Diploma in Management Studies from Management Development Institute (MDI). Camara holds an LLB Degree from the University of the Gambia and BL from the Gambia Law School.

Accountant
Modou Gaye
Modou Gaye, he was born and brought up in a village called Samba Njabeh Village, Lower Nuimi District at North Bank Region of the Gambia. He started his educational career from Samba Njabeh Primary school, later proceeded to Kerr Cherno Omar Upper Basic Cycle School, and proceeded to Nusrat Senior Secondary School. After his graduation from senior secondary school, He was enrolled to Gambia Technical Training Institute (GTTI) where he studies Association of Accounting Technician (AAT).
He also attended The Gambia College, school of Education where he obtained a Higher’s Teacher Certificate (HTC) in English language and Science. He currently a graduate from the university of The Gambia and holder a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (Honors).
He started his profession as a banker at Standard Chartered Bank, Gambia from (2009-2012). He also worked as a qualified teacher from various upper basic and senior secondary schools in the Gambia from (2014-2022) where he taught the following subjects (Financial Accounting, Core Science and English Language) under the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MOBSSE).
During his educational career at the University of the Gambia, Modou served as the Deputy Secretary General of Economics and Management Student’s Association (ECOMANSA) during the 19th Executive Council under the surveillance of School of Business and Public Administration (SBPA). He is currently an employee of Alternative Dispute Resolution Secretariat (ADRS) where is serving as a senior accountant clerk.
